Regarding bookings and stays 

What are the login details of the Mountain Hotels free WIFI network?

  • Connect to the MountainPublic_HOTSPOTS network

  • Wait for a new window to open and log in for free

  • If no window opens: enter "freelogin.ch" in your browser

  • Log in at this website for free 

          

If you loose your room key or your keycard is lost or defective, what should you do?
If a room key is lost, please inform the reception as soon as possible. If no one is available, please dial the emergency number of the hotel.

What are the consequences?

  • If a guest has booked his/her stay including a ski pass, the keycard deposit of CHF 20.00 will be charged to the guest.
  • If a guest has booked his/her stay without a ski pass, a deposit of CHF 10.00 will be charged.
  • For a new ski pass, the original receipt must be presented.

Can I make a reservation for a parking lot?
No, parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance at the Mountain Hotels. However, there are parking spaces available at all hotels which can be used free of charge in summer and for a fee in winter. Please book the parking space at the reception during check-in.

Can I book my room with aarly check-in / late check-out?
Early check-in / late check-out is available upon request, subject to the hotel availability.

What is included in the Davos Klosters Premium Card?
All information about the Davos Klosters Premium Card can be found with one click.

How can I redeem a gift voucher?
Please present your Mountain Hotels gift voucher at check-in for redemption or send us an e-mail in advance. It is not possible to redeem your voucher during the online booking process.

How long is my gift voucher valid?
The validity of the gift voucher is one year from the date of issue.

How does a contract between a guest and the Mountain Hotels comes into effect?
A contract comes into effect with every booking made in writing, by telephone, electronically or in person, and with the delivery of our booking confirmation.

When does a guest agree to the terms and conditions of the Mountain Hotels?
You agree to the terms and conditions with every booking by written confirmation, telephone, electronicly or in person.

What can be cases that allow the Mountain Hotels to change the advertised prices?
Prices may be changed in the event of newly introduced or increased government levies, changes in exchange rates as well as clearly explainable printing errors.

What are the policies for cancellations or rebookings?

Package and hotel bookings by individuals:

Changes / cancellations up to 14 days before arrival: Free of charge (see GTC regarding deposit paid).
Changes / cancellations 14 - 8 days prior to arrival: 50 % of the package price
Changes / cancellations 7 - 1 day before arrival: 80 % of the package price
No-show or cancellation of the arrangement: 100 % of the package price

Package and hotel bookings for groups (8 persons or more):

Changes / cancellations up to 31 days before arrival: Free of charge (see GTC regarding deposit paid).
Changes / cancellations 30 - 15 days before arrival: 50 % of the package price
Changes / Cancellations 14 - 1 day before arrival: 80 % of the package price
No-show or cancellation of the arrangement: 100 % of the package price

Cancellation fees may be covered by a cancellation insurance, if the guest has signed such an insurance before the booking.

Is another person accepted as a substitute for the booking if the guest does not show up for the arrangement?
Yes, another person is accepted, if she/he takes over the existing reservation under the same conditions. The hotel must be notified of the substitute person early before arrival. The original guest remains to be the contractual partner and takes over all liabilities.

May a reservation be cancelled by the Mountain Hotels?
Yes, in the event of force majeure such as political unrest, strikes, catastrophes, etc., cancellations may be made by the Mountain Hotels due to safety reasons.

Will I receive a refund/compensation in case of any disruption during my stay?
No, disruptions such as noise and/or operational restrictions do not entitle guests to any compensation or refund.

By when must claims for compensation be made?
Claims must be made in written form to the hotel immediately, at the latest within 2 weeks after return.

Do the Mountain Hotels have any liability to the guest due to omissions on the part of the guest, unforeseeable and unavoidable omissions on the part of third parties, or force majeure?
No, the Mountain Hotels do not take over any liability for the above-mentioned cases.

Can a hotel room be occupied by more persons than indicated on the booking confirmation?
No, the hotel room may only be used or occupied by the number of persons (including children) indicated on the confirmation.

Who is liable for damages in the hotel room?
The guest is liable for any damage unless he/she can prove that it occurred through no fault of his/her own. Damages must be reported immediately to the hotel reception..

Where can I find information regarding a refund for ski passes?
