Après-Ski in Davos Klosters

As a perfect day on the slopes comes to an end, there’s a world of après ski to explore afterwards and it promises a whole other kind of fun. The name says it all: After skiing, the best way to end the day is with friends over a drink at the bar. Whether it's a cozy get-together and socialising or dancing to great music there's something for everyone in the Davos Klosters Mountains.

Did you know? Davos has been known for a long time for its legendary après-ski parties. The Jatzhütte or the Bolgen Plaza are among the meeting places after some fun on the slopes. All those who have not yet had enough of the extensive partying can continue dancing after 7:00 p.m. at Chalet Bello on the Bolgen parking.

Other venues in Davos also offer party ski fans a good atmosphere and variety. For example, in the unique ambience of the Stall Valär. The restaurant is located directly at the Jakobshorn valley station and was formerly a cow barn - unique restaurant with legendary atmosphere, firmly promised!

Jakobshorn

The Jakobshorn is considered as the legendary event mountain. It is known throughout Switzerland for its unique combination of perfect slopes, many sun terraces, excellent gastronomy and exuberant atmosphere.

Whirlpool and sunset

This is how people celebrate and enjoy the sun at the Jatzhütte every weekend during the winter season. Combined with great music, the last rays of sunshine on the mountain are still used and unforgettable hours are spent. At the Jatzhütte you will find legendary theme parties, such as full moon dinners or a Schlager party as well as the Munggatanz with electronic music in spring. Not to forget and an absolute cult drink: the legendary "Kaffi Sex", best enjoyed in the highest whirlpool at over 2,500 meters above sea level.

Excellent gastronomy and atmosphere

This is available for guests, groups and companies in the popular mountain restaurant Châlet Güggel. A tip: A fine beef fillet with a good glass of wine will make you stay a little longer! In the mountain restaurant Fuxägufer, good food and a casual atmosphere are also very important. The cozy terrace is suitable for sunbathing for skiers as well as pedestrians, who reach the restaurant with the chairlift Carjöl from the valley.

Tip: The restaurants at Jakobshorn can also be booked for evening events on request and are ideal for company dinners and special occasions.

Bolgen Plaza AND Chalet Bello

Near the valley station of the Jakobshorn several locations invite you for après-ski. These can be reached via the valley run or by foot from the valley station.

The meeting place for après-ski

The Bolgen Plaza restaurant is considered THE number one in Davos for good après-ski. You get off your skis and can party right away inside on the dancefloor or on their large outdoor terrace. The Plaza is also perfectly accessible for pedestrians and is open daily until 19:00. After that, the après-ski fun continues at Chalet Bello.

At the Chalet Bello you can party until late in the evening. The modern chalet convinces with its very special atmosphere of wood, special light elements and modern decor. Also the possibility to combine the celebration with a delicious dinner attracts many guests. Italian specialties as well as alpine apéritivi provide for extensive enjoyment.

Parsenn Gotschna

In Davos Dorf

The Montana Bar is the insider tip in Davos Dorf. The bar is located at the train station near the valley run from Parsenn. It is a popular meeting place not only for guests, also for many locals. The bar regularly hosts live concerts and DJ gigs. Included - various music genres from folk, rock to reggea and hip-hop.

In Klosters

At the end of the valley descent to Klosters right next to the Gotschna valley station is the Kaffee Klatsch Klosters. At Kaffee Klatsch, a cozy atmosphere without a lot of hustle and bustle is a priority. If you are looking for more après-ski, you will find it at the Serneuser Schwendi. Here you can enjoy an aperitif on the beautiful sun terrace until you continue skiing down the valley to Klosters.

FROM A BARN TO A HIP BAR

A new highlight in Davos has emerged from a barn that is over 100 years old. The modern and trendy Stall Valär offers a cozy bar on the first floor and a spectacular restaurant on the upper floor. The mix of old walls, the wooden facade, modern interior and upscale cuisine make the Stall Valär a hip and trendy place to stop in Davos. In the bar you can enjoy fancy drinks or exquisite wines, on the upper floor you can be pampered by exclusive dishes

THE LEGENDARY Schanze

The bar Bolgenschanze got its name from the snow ski jump with the same name on the Bolgen area. In the early 1900s, ski jumpers dared to take to the skies there with their wooden slats.

In the 90s, the Bolgenschanze was famous as THE party location in Davos. Australians who preferred to snowboard during the day mixed drinks fort he guests behind the bar counter until the early morning hours.

Even today, the Bolgenschanze is a popular meeting place. Once a month, people dance to old hits at the legendary Schanzenhit party. There are also regular concerts by singer-songwriters or DJs, as well as theme parties. An absolute insider tip, because the Bolgenschanze is cult in Davos!

Our tip: If you just want to fall into bed after the party, you can spend the night directly on the upper floor of the Bolgenschanze Guesthouse.

THE MUSICBAR ROTLIECHTLI

The name of the bar says everything: Rotliechtli means in german red light and you can recognize the red light of the bar from far away. Among locals and guests, the cozy bar is known mainly for its music and legendary drinks, such as the "Flämmli". It is worth taking a look at the seasonal program, because in the Liechtli different music styles are combined and played. So there is the right music mix for everyone! At the theme parties, people dance to retro hip-hop or rock music, and at the pillow fight party, everyone parties hard..
