Reason 1: Reliable snow quality

Ideal slope conditions until the end of the season

Even well into spring, Davos Klosters boasts perfect conditions for skiing. The combination of natural and artificial snow creates optimum conditions for enjoyable descents. The Parsenn ski resort is located at 2,844 metres above sea level, which makes Davos Klosters particularly snow-sure. The solid foundation created over the winter months lasts well into April, creating an ideal playground for skiers and snowboarders to make the most of those last few days on the slopes!

Reason 2: Lots of space, fewer skiers

For a more tranquil skiing experience

What’s better than having the slopes almost all to yourself? No matter the time of day, and without having to get up early? With the peak season behind us, fewer skiers visit the resort. That’s why, during spring skiing, you can take full advantage of the slopes and carve wide, sweeping turns into the snow!

Reason 3: Springtime discount

Prices are melting

Ski tickets become cheaper towards the end of the season. Plus: You benefit from discounts that make spring skiing even more attractive. As a special springtime deal, you get a 20 per cent discount on all multi-day tickets (3 days or more) from after Easter until the end of the season. Our tip: Take advantage of this deal and combine it with an overnight stay at a Mountain Hotel! The perfect opportunity to treat yourself to a last winter getaway this year – with the prices melting faster than the snow!

Reason 4: Pleasant temperatures

Countless hours of sunshine in the mountains

Warmer temperatures and more daylight hours invite us to spend as much time outdoors as possible. In Davos, you can ski to your heart’s content and then relax on a mountain restaurant’s sundeck. But don’t forget to apply sunscreen! And with ample daylight remaining after skiing, you can end the day with a sunset walk or some après-ski fun. Spring is truly a delight!

Reason 5: Top-class events

Feel the rhythm in the mountains

As April ushers in milder weather, the atmosphere at the mountain huts gets particularly high-spirited. Live music, well-known DJs and festivals: For some, the best part of the winter season starts now. Dancing in the snow at Jatzhütte, celebrating the end of the season or lounging on a sundeck – the options for an unforgettable ski day are nearly endless! Numerous events take place both in the mountains and in the valley, which you can enjoy from a deckchair or the dance floor.

Reason 6: Ski gear

Discounted equipment

Considering an equipment upgrade? The season’s end is the perfect time to visit local ski hire shops for great deals on test skis and rental gear, including lighter gloves ideal for spring. For those looking to invest a little more, we recommend attending the ski test events at the beginning of the winter season. That’s where you can immediately put your skis to the test on the slopes and receive expert advice to find the perfect fit.

Reason 7: Open ski lifts until the end of the season

Easy access to the slopes

Last but not least: The cable cars and lifts take you up the mountains for spring skiing! Comfortable gondolas and funiculars whisk you right to the Alpine peaks and slopes with ease. At the end of April, the cable cars and lifts close until summer, when they resume to take hikers and bikers up into the mountains. So, be sure to check the opening times of each mountain and seize this chance for one last winter sports adventure in the Swiss Alps!

We look forward to welcoming you until the end of the season! Other popular springtime activities in Davos include winter hiking and ski touring. For instance, how about a leisurely hike on Jakobshorn, complete with a break on a cosy sundeck? A wonderful way to enjoy the mountains to the full!
